5 ingredient cheese crackers recipe

Crackers, Shapes, biscuits, whatever you call them - Because the cost of those prepackaged ones + the ingredients lists… absolutely wild 😵

Turns out, making your own homemade Cheese Crackers for the lunchbox is sooo much easier than you think, 5 ingredients & 100% kid approved 🙌🏼
From their mouths, not mine: “I could eat these allll day!” 🤭

ingredients:

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 6tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2tbsp cold water

Totally optional - but I add a sprinkle of paprika for some extra flavour!

method:

1. Process/blend cheese, flour, and salt. Add butter; process until sandy texture. Add water; knead until clumpy.

2. Preheat oven to 177°C. Roll dough & cut into desired size. Poke holes in the centre of each cracker.

4. Place on your krumbsco Oven Size Baking Mats & bake for 16-20 mins (or until golden & crunchy).

Store: Keep at room temp for up to 1 week; leave lid slightly open for crispiness until completely cooled.
